Patient Case Details

This woman in her late 30’s had a BRCA mutation which gave her a significant risk of developing breast cancer.  She had decided that she was going to remove both her breasts in order to significantly reduce her risk.  Keeping her nipples was very important to her, as was having a natural tissue reconstruction.  I performed her reconstruction in several stages.  First I performed a breast reduction and lift.  A few months later she had her mastectomy and DIEP flap reconstruction.  Here we see her final result which is natural, aesthetic, and that she very happy with.

Individual results may vary.
